Technical Deep-Dive
On the floor, your line speed sets the pace, and the lamp has to keep up. That’s why we lean on a 2500W lamp running on a 400V supply. It pushes the current hard, so you get the photon flux you need for a fast cure. We also keep the tube at 300mm for a reason. It concentrates the beam right where the coating is, so the energy lands on the target—no waste, no stray light. The result is a finish that feels consistent, with the gloss and cure depth you want across the whole board.
Material & Design
Inside, we use a shortwave UV source wrapped in a quartz envelope. Quartz was the obvious choice—it transmits UV well and stays steady when the heat comes and goes. And on a line, heat comes and goes a lot. The quartz handles the thermal shock of rapid starts and stops without losing its nerve, so output stays stable. The connector is an R7s, because it locks in fast, carries high current safely, and stays put even when the machine is humming and vibrating. We also coat the lamp to manage reflection and protect the inside. It’s the kind of detail that keeps output steady over time—no surprises, just the same performance, day after day.
Application & Benefits
On wood flooring coating lines, this setup does the heavy lifting: curing high-gloss topcoats and scratch-resistant wear layers in one pass. Because it’s high power, the dwell time shrinks. That means you can bump up line speed and still walk away with a finish that feels hard and durable. The 300mm footprint is compact enough to drop into existing ovens and curing modules without a fight. But here’s the part you have to plan for: 2500W makes heat. So your machine needs to manage ambient temperature and cooling around the lamp. Get that right, and you keep everything cool enough to perform reliably.
